Spring Heath Log Cabins & Fishery is a tranquil 10 acre holiday park located on the outskirts of the traditional English village of Knockin, Shropshire.
The park is set in a beautiful natural waterside location which instantly destresses you from your everyday life. So, whether you wish to spend time fishing or just relaxing, we can ensure you that we have what you are looking for.
Although a hidden gem, Spring Heath Log Cabins Fishery & Caravan Park is just 3 miles off the A5 in North Shropshire, within easy access of the M54, the North West of England and Wales. Knockin in Shropshire is one hour from Birmingham and Manchester and 3.5 hours from London.
The park has been established for 13 years and has an abundance of mature trees in a natural location. The fishery consists of two fishing pools which are each approximately two acres in size. The pools have a number of wildlife islands & are set in mature surroundings. These pools attract lots of rare wildlife which makes your stay even more special.
We are perfectly located for access to the Shropshire Hills. If you like rambling, cycling or photography, then we are sure that you would love to explore some of the local countryside.
We are close to the Long Mynd Mountain & slightly further away is the Wrekin or the Berwyn Mountains.
The Pontcysysllte Aqueduct built in 1808 is worth a visit, this is a world heritage site which is only a 40 minute drive away.
There are also some great local towns to explore such as Shrewsbury, Whitchurch & Ludlow where you will find quaint shops and medieval buildings. If you prefer a bit more hustle and bustle then the Cheshire Oaks outlet centre is less than an hour away.
